How do you get propellors to look like this? - PDelaney - 16.02.2009
Are these edited in Photoshop, if not how do you get propellors to look like this in screen captures?
Mine all look like this (top image with fraps, bottom image from PrintScreen .tga)
Having searched, it doesn't seem to be a mod:
Requesting a Propellor mod. for authentic film shutter speed

Thanks

There is a mod.
If you have the UI, go to the MODS folder and enable PropTex (delete the "-" sign from the folder name).
Your props will look less like real life and more like movies.
There's probably a separate download here somewhere, just search for "new propeller textures"...

I'm not sure but I think there is a MOD out there and the MOD builder is someone named RenMike(?) but again I'm not sure ... the effect is like Radoye stated is more of the effect you'd see in movies or photographs but not with the human eye which sees the effect that is in-game. That is what I recall from the thread on the MOD.

Thanks everyone!
Having checked out the variations - it's down to personal choice but some of them seem unrealistic unless used for screenies - a bit like sitting behind a pin wheel firework lol. I finally used stuka_40's "Lighter blade" (page 3 of this thread):

Probably a bit subtle for most but you can see the blades rotate in reponse to the throttle...
Thank you all
