303rd Bomb Group B-17F skinpacks - BomberBoy - 17.02.2009
This is a series of skins, 10 per squadron, that I made for B-17Fs from the 303rd Bomb Group. Also included are 4 blanks, one per pack with a variety of national markings. They are made for my B-17F Visual Mod, which is available here at AAA:

The skins will still work with the stock B-17F, although there are some abnormalities around the nose and ball turret windows.

Very nice BB, but I have to ask, is the lettering on the side suppose to be under or over the ensignia, or not at all?

It depended on the individual plane. Most of the group's early planes had the codes painted on when the US insignia didn't have the bars (late spring 1943). When the bars were made official (July 1943), they usually (but not always) just painted them over the letters.

I would love to have these, if you still have them up somewhere.
Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't know about the rules regarding putting links in here.
All of my recent skins can be found at Mission4Today. I also have quite a few (older) ones at Flying Legends.
