[request] German Nightfighter Ta 154 - JG3_VonHahn - 19.02.2009

Hi all modders.
A few days before I saw two new nightfighter mods. So I think it is allowed to request another one. There wasa german nightfighter called Focke-Wulf Ta 154. I hope you know it.
I got some information:

Wingspan: 16m
Lenght: 12.57m
Hight: 3.65
first flight: 25.11.'43
motors: 2 X 1340 PS Junkers Jumo 211F
Highspeed: 574km/h at 6.3 km altitude
climbrate:12 m/s
weight: 6910kg empty/ 8490 inflight weight
max. alt.: 9250m
fuel: 1000liter
weapons: 4 X MG151 every one has 200 rounds

Hope someone wants to create this, I would, but I don

I think there was a request about this aircraft before. I have no idea if anyone has picked it up. but there were some issues with the historical one - mainly that it had a bad habit of falling apart in the air.... not an ideal characteristic for a combat aircraft.

- Slow - 19.02.2009

Because of the bad glue that had to be used, as the British bombed the original glue factory.

- Coatimundi - 19.02.2009

I think I might have heard about that when I was realy little, if I remember correctly, the glue was made up of, or had somthing to do with dandelions.

- Pirate - 19.02.2009

That would be a problem... I don't believe dandelions are well known for their adhesive properties

- Freiwillige - 20.02.2009

You know that glue story is interesting but something tells me they had the ability to solve it. Then it dawned on me. The HE-163 Volksjeager had the exact same problem! The first generation produced had a tail that would desentigrate due to the glue used. They switched the wood glue to a differant compound and solved the issue.

Brilliant. So to create this mod we need a new, different, kind of wood? :?
