Destroyed aircraft mod request - walter_solito - 20.02.2009

Hi!

Can be made destroyed planes for put them on the map like common object?

Many airfield or battlefield have destoyed plane in memory or past assault (what about Malta airfield at the top of the German Blitz?) so can be beautiful if when we bomb an enemy airfield we can see some souvenir of our past friendly visits!!!!

cheers

Yes, good ideia, fuselages, wings... a planes cemitery like really was in all air bases.

you can do that, just place a plane in the map and use the destrction tool over the plane and you will have a destroyed plane, you can do this with every object.

PS - About Oil Blotch: GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be very nice to remove the old effect of damaged planes and objects turning black. The effect was originally designed for 2003 computers and low-res monitors. On modern day PC's it just looks silly.

yes but remember this engine it's old and sometime have serius problems to manage some improvements and you have a really bad fps hit

Removing or toning down the black coating on destroyed objects shouldn't effect frame rates at all.

no if it's just skining no
