Hello chaps,

I got all modded up and the discovered the new default skins for 4.09b were available, my question is can I install these straight and without trouble version switching or will there be complications?

You can't install it directly, but you can use sfs_extractor extract all new default skin outside and copy them into SkinMod, same result as original 4.09bm+New default skinpack. 8)

you can find sfs tool in tool section.
it's simple.
1. extract 409b1m_skins.zip to a temp folder. there are void skins inside PaintSchemes, mainly for skiner.
2. extract fb_3do20.SFS with sfs extractor.
3. install vp_skinmod
4. copy all folders inside 3do/plane to your MODS\SKINMOD\3do\plane

Can I request that the next patch to the UI incorporates the 409 skin pack? Its a bummer to run 409 with mods and still have the legacy 109 skins... the 1C 409 ones are so much better, and the work is already done.

With the UI available there should be no need for most players to have to use sfs extractors etc
