Hi, hope someone may help me......... now, since january i've been facing this problem with my video resolution or at least with the image shown on my screen wich isn't full. i mean that instead of having the screen of my laptop completely occupied by the image of the game i get two black stripes on the left and on the right of the screen. i've managed to set the video resolution to 1024 etc....but i'm still having the same problem. can anyone help me? thanks

Are you familiar with the config.ini file? If so, check to see if the initial lines look like this, except that the first two lines should show you screen resolution. In particular, check your FullScreen and EnableResize values:

height=1200
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=1
FullScreen=1
DrawIfNotFocused=0
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=1
Use3Renders=0

just like yours.......I don't really know what to think.
the game runs smoothly, with right video settings, in my wife laptop wich is just like mine: sony vaio fz series.
