TBF FM ..seems a bit ...uh...twitchy??? - Dietz - 22.02.2009

Started flying the TBF in the Red Devil Campaign ( which by the way is quite nice) but I do wonder where the FM came from that is assigned to the TBF. I have read that the flying characteristics of the real plane were close to truck- like ( that's lorry-like for our friends across the pond,) one assumes that it needed to be very steady indeed to drop its torpedo at the right time, right spped & right attitude to try to ensure a hit, but in game the controls for this rather ponderous aircraft are overly sensitive & as described twitchy...in many ways like the Brewster Buffalo theat the interior of the TBF seems to have greatly borrowed.
Stupid question,I guess, can it be changed?

simple answer : no

long answer lol

It can't be changed because if you were to go into a server with a modified FM it would give you an advantage over the other players in that game which is unfair. I 100% agree with what you think about the TBF< and would love to completely redo the FM, But unfortunately we can't

JD, I find this bird nice to fly, ONCE you have got it trimmed and the ball centered, constant trimming is the key for this fella.

Cheers

Once I trim this bird, she flies great. Its the Kates and Jills we ought to think about first.
