BUG - tailwheel lock causes canopy to open - tsb47 - 01.03.2009

I have a strange bug. When I lock the tailwheel on any aircraft, the canopy automatically slides back. This is not a UI 1.1 bug, as I am runing the 1.0 UI. Does anyone what is causing this problem - and more importantly - to fix it?

Not a big issue. Just a little annoying.

Salut and Cheers,

The only thing I can think of is a control conflict, and by that I mean if you set on your control screen a key and a joystick button as your binding for tail lock and have that same joystick button programmed in it's own software as open/close canopy, then when you press the joystick button you are in effect executing both those commands, one from the control bindings and one from the software program.

In the screenie below if I programmed my X52pro software so that button 4 was alt+c then I would expect both those actions to happen.

I don't know if you have a programmable stick or not but if you do it may be worth checking.

Yeah, I'm not too stressed about it - good to know the cause though. Cheers!
