Stutter - INTERNAL ERROR Str2FloatClamp()_ - tsb47 - 01.03.2009
Hi all,
Sorry to post again so soon after my last post, but I have a problem that has been bugging me for a while. Once every so often I get a stutter that comes and goes every two or three seconds. Sometimes the stutter keeps on getting worse until the game CTDs. I shift+tabbed to see what the problem might be, and most times after a stutter the console gives one of the following errors:
INTERNAL ERROR: Str2FloatClamp() - ...
OR
Timeoverflow ()
Is there a fix? Is this a common issue? I read on the Ubi forum that this (might) be MOD related, but there was no more info... Can anyone help?

...should be so. Experienced this lately just as you desccribed it.
Was flying on the great Alpen map in the Heinz Bar campaign (both superbly done).
I only had the crash down on the airfield amongst zillions of objects and stutters when approaching a large formation of B-24s (might be a sound file misfitting my sys?).
Anyone willling to contribute and help us find a fix?

I have the same error as well. If anyone has any information regarding this, please share it. It seems that alot of these cases have been popping up lately..

some effects mods can give that error (smoke mods or similar), try disabling them if you are using any, and see if it's still there

MOVED...To correct forum section.
AND , have you taken a look at you visability-distance in the config.ini.....by lowering the value on this often gets rid of stutters on compex maps for me , it may not be the source of the problem , but works as a quick fix for me.

Thanks for the replies. So far I haven't had any success. The only thing I can think I have done to alter something that could be causing it would be that I have recently updated my graphics driver.
In fact, here's a better explanation of the problems I'm having. The error always pops up when I get these major lag stutters, more or less in this video. As stated in the video, it will return to normal after a couple of seconds, more or less.
The full name for the error is this:
INTERNAL ERROR: Str2FloatClamp() - Clamped 3 -> 2 (delta = -1) to Range 0..2 null
Followed typically by the "Time overflow" Error

I saw in somewhere that this error is related with prs sound files.
Some sound mods has incomplete prs sound files and I'm trying to correct that. :roll:

I think that it comes from graphic settings or graphic mods, but ?
