I use 3ds Max 2009

but you can also use;
3ds Max 9 (different from 2009)

but how do i make or convert normal plane files into ''max'' files??

I'm just beginning with 3d modding, i wanted to learn it :twisted:

Is 3DS max 6 OK for IL2 also? I'd like to get started in this and thats the version I have....

I think you can use almost every 3D software for IL2. Converting 3d models to il2 and making the flight model is the harder part
