do i have to let the installer for the Silverplate alphabetize my planes in order for it to work? or is there a way i can get it into the list w/o doing such? i have the unified installer and the AC mod. also, if i have alphabetized it, how do i undo it

You can change the Positions in the menu only manuell. It's a lot of work and if add a new plane you must do all the work again. The file you search for is here:
IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects
air.ini
You can change the Positions in this file.
If you delete an Aircraft, you can't fly it anymore.

Tip: Download the B29 from the Unified Installer 1.1 You will have a "real" B29 Cockpit there.
