4.09 loads as 4.08 only online - Printable Version

4.09 loads as 4.08 only online - =RAF=darky1 - 13.03.2009

Could anybody shed some light on my new problem i have a 4.09 seperate install that plays only 4.09 installs but loads up in hyperlobby as 4.08.
i have pointed the correct path of the .exe in hyperlobby but when it loads the same .exe i use for the 4.09 online says 4.08 :?

why do you have a seperate 4.09, you could use the version switcher. Switch Version and go to hyperlobby

I had the same problem with a seperate install. What happend with me is that the Hyperlobby file is pointing to the UBISOFT folder. I had to change the folder names back and forth. i.e. I had two UBISOFT folders one had the stock install and one had the modded install. I just changed the name back and forth to like UBISOFT1 and UBISOFT2 to keep them straight.

After a computer crash this seemed not to work as well and the version switcher is the best solution. Now however I may have to go back to this because I fly FS and another server that have two incompadable mod packs.

So long winded but your main issue is that Hyperlobby is looking only to your first intall.

A question now about the switcher, if i load up 4.09 compatible only mods will this not interfear with the running of 4.08 then :?:

Another question where do i install the switcher files to :? every time i place files and the exe. in place of the original files and exe. my game doesnt load hock:
