[MOD] DeviceLink Pilot V0.6 - zipzapp - 14.03.2009

Changes in V1.6

Much improved steering, the DL_Pilot reads and considers the instruments now.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

As sitting in a gunner position disable the level stabilizer or the auto pilot (when flying offline) and press a defined joystick buttom or key to instruct the plane turning left or right. Plane will turn until you press the level out key or button. Than the plane will level out and keep a level flight until you press the level out or a turning key or button again. Current action is displayed at the lower right of your sreen.

Turning while sitting in the gunner position will allow you to fight a attacking fighter much better.

Keys and buttons are selectable in the ini file.

Download the DL_PilotV0.6 here:

For online purposes you also have to install this DeviceLink online mod:

viewtopic.php?t=13257

The reason for this is that normaly instruments can't be read by the DeviceLink when flying online.

For detailled instructions read the DL_Pilot.ini file.

Program works only when flying planes with more then one cockpit. Unmodded game versions are only supported when flying offline.

Does it mean you can control the plane while the autopilot flies it?

But anyway thanks for the mod. I think nobody can fly and shoot with a gunner at once

So do i have to activate the autopilot before?

- VF-51_Cobraj - 14.03.2009

Not sure I understand what this MOD does exactly, can you explain?

- zipzapp - 14.03.2009

You have to disable the autopilot (when playing offline) or a level stabilizer (if activated).

Well, don't know how to explain it better - press a key or button and your plane will turn, thats all ;-)

- Caspar - 14.03.2009

Uhm... maybe I'm wrong... isn't that already possible by pressing the joystick while moving the gunner with mouse?

- Erg./JG54_crazty - 22.03.2009

This is like an autopilot when using bomber guns correct?

- juhroen89 - 22.03.2009

tnx! this makes formation flying/turning easier when controlling one of the gunners
