MAT Manager and UI 1.1? - RAF_Loke - 19.03.2009

Just installed the latest version of MAT Manager.
When I try to launch the game from there, I get a splash screen in Russian and sim crashes shortly after.
Is there a workaround for this?

Not meaning to patronise you, but you sure you installed mat manager correctly?

you need to copy your il2fb.exe file found in your il2 folder and rename the copy il2.exe. Matt manager requires the new one to function, but it is in russian and the mods won't work. You have to use the original il2fb.exe to actually run the game, matt manager is a prickly customer and won't work unless the il2.exe is present.

Of course, this is a suggestion, and matt manager is generally difficult to install and often refuses to work for a plethora of reasons.

I can only suggest this viewtopic.php?t=9844&highlight= thread as I had loads and loads of trouble getting matt manager to work, and the method outlined here worked for me and other people. It didn't work for everyone unfortunately. But the tedious install was worth it in the end.

It works fine now, and I even didn't a thing.
So I guess it was the reboot that did it. As I haven't restarted the PC after the install.
