NWE map - may-bug - 23.03.2009
Hi all,
I'm currently working on this map:
I'm looking for informations about roads and railways and, if possible, pictures of airfields in this area (late 44/early 45).
Towns and villages are populated, airfields placement is almost done. Still some work to do on map_C, others map_x files are OK.
Here are some screens (textures are still WIP, I have to "clean" them, tweak colors, and finish some bump and tree files). Tempest skin by Alex Voicu.

Great!
That's what I was working for. Might be a fantastic scenario for night hunts and some of the late war bomber raids.
Which scale will it be? 1:1?
Many thanks!

Maybe you can use the link below for the Dutch part of the map:

Site is in Dutch, so you will have to do some experimental exploration.

Ah nice, a map of my country! As you may know I/JG27_Waggel and Asheshouses are working on more or less the same area. Maybe you can ask them to get the relevant info you are asking for?

Hopefully you didn't use the map of the Netherlands/Germany/Denmark as shown above because it is not representative for the Netherlands during WWII. It is definately a post WWII map because certain areas where still water at that time.
EDIT: on the link below you will see the Dutch railways during WWII. (white and blue lines. The grey lines used to be rails but were mainly broken up before the war.)

During the war the Germans made some extra lines which led to the airfields, camps and for V-2 transports. I don't know if you want to have this info as well.

Roads from 1927-1940
Roads from 1940-1940
Those black dots are the locations of destroyed bridges.
Here is the link (in Dutch):

And last but not least now you have a better map of the Netherlands as it was during WWII.
