Plane Mod Request Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle - Loht773 - 09.04.2009

The Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle was originally designed as medium bomber however it served as a transport aircraft. It served in Sicily, Holland, France and in the Soviet Union.

It was used to transport paratroopers and to tow gliders, heres some characteristics:

I have some plans if anyone wants to take it up, not brilliant but workable.

Would much rather see the Halifax I, II and III's. Arbemale was in the background for good reason, like the Stirling. Halifax was to the RAF like the B24 was to the USAAF, a significant aeroplane that was overshadowed by a sister in the limelight.

The Halifax is already being done, the Albemarle is interesting because its not a very known RAF plane. Like the Whitley or the american bomber Martin B-10. It would be nice to get this unkown bombers in game.

Regards!

Very nice to see interest in aircraft outside the kill-em-all and Paperwaffe types. Best of luck finding a modder for it. For me, I'm wishing for a Hudson or Hampden.

Hudson definitely. Big Grin

+1 for the Hudson!
