Skin request for F-86 Bundesluftwaffe - bohr-r - 11.04.2009

Hello,

Finally having the F-86 in Il-2 was a dream come true! Thank you to everybody who was involved in making this real! I have a further request, though. Would it be possible to make one or more skins for German F-86, for example those that served in post-war Germany with the Richthofen Squadron? I will post a few pictures for reference below.
Unfortunately, I don't have the slightest clue about making aircraft skins. Furthermore, seeing the excellent work that has already been done on the F-86 by several talented skinners, I would like to request these German F-86 skins.
Your generosity in this regard would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

RB

Nice!

Erich Hartmann's old bird! I would love to see that skin! Big Grin

It's not the exact thing but it's German and relatively close. There are slight problems with the Arrows I know but that's due to mapping issues.

German F-86 (Fictional Paint Scheme)

Will be out with my new skin pack containing now 35 skins.

Some constructive observations (I hope): The light colour should be blue-ish, the edges between them a bit blurred, the dark green in fron of the cockpit angled the other way... and you'll be close to the JA-111. Smile

Thanx, I know it's not the actual scheme hence the "fictional". The actual camo that is on there is taken from a different German F-86 that I have pictures of. The hartmann stuff is from a paint job that I never finished. At the moment I don't feel like editing all the paint and stuff so I'm leaving it for now... but thanks for the info anyway.
