i *think* you get the latest version of the ac installer (look on the new spitifre XIV's page)

oh and don't have the fairey battle mod at the moment.

Remove the Fairy Battle from the air.ini file or don't bother with the new spit yet. Your choice. It'll be sorted soon I bet. I'm sticking with the Battle for now

no. also that way it don't work.

remove battle, run a/c installer, make sure you manually install the XIV, pay attention to what you are doing, and you should have no issues.
