Is there a mod out there that totally removes enemy icons ONLY on a server that uses icons??

Currently I have 3 options if i set the key "toggle icons" in the "controls menu" in the game.

1. plane type for both enemies and friendlies
2. Distance to both enemies and friendlies
3. No icons at all for either enemies or friendlies

Now, is there any mod out there that will delete the enemy icon in the first 2 options but keep the friendly ones only??

You can do that without mods.... See this article @ M4T for a better explanation of the dot range fucntion.. You can also download IL2 Stab or IL2 Manager both can be found at Mission 4 Today. The HotKeys mod here can also be used to tweak icon settings.

The server would have to set it up that way.. I don't think there s a way yet to override server icon settings.... That's a good thing.. then you'd have some wanker using icons on a full switch server and bragging about how good he is.

Yes I agree. But I mainly wanted to make it more difficult. I fly on a server with limited icons for both sides, no color or anything and only at really close distances but I want to remove the enemy icons only but still keep the friendly ones...

you might try modding your startup.rcu file. That MIGHT effect the icons on a server.
