Can anyone tell me how I can install the new a/cs? I have UI 1.0 and A/C installer 3.3. and i don't intend to install 1.1 on this install. any help plz?

AAA U.I 1.0 contains SoundMOD 0.93 (I think)

You need to replace your buttons-file, which can be found in "..\IL2 Forgotten Battles\files\gui\game", with that buttons-file from AC3.3 from "AC_INSTALLER_v3_3.rar\ver_9_3\files\GUI\GAME"

All should work...

I finally managed to install a number of new aircraft, the PZL 24, the Fairey battle, the 2 new Spitfires.

But I had to do it on a totally new and clean install of 4.09 with UI 1.0 - no other mods installed (yet).

The Spits install with an executable. Just point the program to the correct path and it will do the rest.

Other aircraftsuch as the Fairey Battle and PZL 24 etc. you will have to manually install - instructions are in the readme files included in the setup zips. It's a fairly simple setup process 9except perhaps the first time). You have to add lines of text in 3 files and copy a directory to your MODS directory. In any case, instead of explaining here, you should just read the readme files.

I installed the buttons file manually as well (backing up the old buttons file first !!!).

But if you have already installed a lot of other mods already, you might run into difficulties.Somewhere in all my many mods, there must be one that conflicts with installing new aircraft with new FM ... but I haven't found it yet.

That's why you should start the new aircraft installs in a new and clean game version.
