After installing this installer, I have found that by using H/L i have no problem entering a game no matter which patch used.

But if I try to open the game and enter an IP to enter a game . I always get a time out.

Any Ideas on this????? :?: :?:

Hi, There!
It doesn't necessarily have to be a mod issue. A buddy of mine has the same problem Mod On or Off.
He can join my server thru HL but not via the ingame connection menu (IP) -> timeout.
However we tracked the problem down to either:
a) his software firewall and virus-tracker (Kaspersky), or
b) his new router, which might need some configuration (hardware firewall issue?!).
We're still laboring on it, but as far as I know us two lazy butts, we'll be settling for me putting up a server on HL where he can join from and my other buddies can decide for themselves, whether they connect via IP or HL :wink:

At this point in time this ole boy is totaly LOST.
I do have my anti-viurs turned off as is firewall.

I had to reinstall IL-2 1946 complete . So i also deleted installer and I could enter from the game
by entering IP . After Mod installer nope.
To my way of thinking it has some thing to do with the installer ??? Gussing here . :roll:
