Need Help with Unified Installer 1.1 - armydan - 07.05.2009
Ok, i tried to guide my friend through downloading the UI 1.1 because i managed to do it right and we did everything the instructions said but it still didn't work.He installed all the parts and put them in a folder then ran part 1 to his il-2 146 file which is like this (C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946). Nothing happened after he installed this when he started up his game, it just ran normally.
What did we do wrong?

If he has vista he needs to install it in C, not program files.
I just walked my buddy through it a few weeks ago.
Vista sucks if you dont know how it works.
Took us almost 10 hours.

I have Windows Vista
But if I do not download U.I ptach into C: fiels then where do I put them? Thanks for reply.

Ummmmm....program files is in C drive m8......he has it exactly where mines installed.
Did you chk the version switcher and change to 4.08m mod?
Copy that to your desktop. Hope it's the trick m8.

Just right click and create shortcut to desktop and viola fin.

I think I just have to re-install it and delete all the stuff
becuz i downloaded stuff before armydan helped me with mods and I also cant hear any sounds in il2
so YAH lol

Yeah... so turns out you do have vista.... which i hate!
Anybody know how to install the UI with vista?
