want to start a new AC - RifleFighter - 07.05.2009

Hello,

I want to start and make a new AC for Israeli pilots to play. it is going to be the meteorF or the Mister4

I know how to model stuff that's takes time. the problem is that I don't know where to start to make a model for IL2. there are so many tutorials about that stuff and there are many tools so you really can't know what you need and what you do not need...

I'll start up with searching data and start up my regular model.. meanwhile I'll be glad to have an answer

Well In the tutorials look at the part where it says plane part naming. And simply just make a model of a plane and make sure you label he parts together. You don;t have to worry about materials damage models LODS and ect. untill your done with the main Mesh.

You do realise the Gloster Meteor is still someone else's project? We do not tolerate poaching around here. If you want to take over the project, contact MrJolly - he's the project lead.

you need not make the meteor as it will soon be a reality here for download.
if you wish to make an aircraft find out what ones are not being worked on and go from there.

sorry I did not see that it is being worked on. I saw the list on the WIP forum and it did not appear there

I'll do the Dasao Ourogan then.

can you tell me what is the working schedule meaning what I'll have to do in each step of making the model. do I need all your tools and plugins now? or I'll just start the model and when I'll finish it I'll contact you?

actually I'm trying to make AC for the Israeli Operation Kadesh.

I've already made a scene with all the blueprints and profiles. took it from a russian site I found link somewhere here so thanks!

any tipes for starting the model?
