"That" scene from the movie - Guest - 08.05.2009

It is the point where Cdr Lee, CAG, breaks the bad news to Lt Brubaker that he is losing fluid. CAG is flying 00 (see explanation in the thread below - by VC-81_BOLTER)

In the US Navy, the CAG (Carrier Air Group Commander) traditionally flew the aircraft marked with 00. Doublenuts was a common reference to those aircraft. The previous plane the CAG flew in the movie was "PP" or peter - peter the photo recon bird assigned to the ship. Good work on your skins there mate!
