Graphics settings for nVidia - Flanker35M - 13.05.2009

S!

As title says. I am using a MSI 280GTX(factory OC) 1Gb DDR3 graphics card with latest drivers from nVidia for Windows 7 RC. Rest of system is Intel i7 920 CPU, Intel DX58SO motherboard(latest INF drivers), 3 x 2Gb DDR3 at 1333MHz, Creative XiFi Extreme Audio PCIe (1.4.0 drivers), 24in BenQ widescreen monitor and Windows7 RC. Game is currently running at 1920 x 1200 32-bit OpenGL-mode, VSync enabled. AAA UI 1.1 + patch in use.

My issues are:

1) Dots of airplanes, no matter what settings I try they are disappearing VERY easily. As an example. I see a plane against a cloud maybe 4km away and when it comes over ground the dot just is not there anymore. NExt time I see it is when it is almost shooting at me or taking a look who I am. As reference I can see tanks and vehicles over 10km away easily?!

2) Graphics run really smooth and stutter free but behold..for example if I take off on the stock N-France map with Caen etc and fly over a town the FPS goes down to a whopping 8FPS! Normally it is 50-60FPS constant with VSync on. If I look away from it then it returns to normal. Any explosions, smoke or firing does not slow system down at all.

Any help would be appreciated to soleve the issues I have, not very enjoyable to TRY dogfight in a slide show or get sore eyes and head when trying to peer where in heck the dots are. IF more info on spesific settings are needed I gladly supply this information. Thank you in advance for any tips and tricks Smile

S!

Seems that Windows 7 latest nVidia drivers released last week helped some and the tweaks from the link above. So a bit better now!
