Help a noob - luftwaffles - 14.05.2009

Hey, I have tried installing all the patches, from the newest to the oldest. The thing is whenever I install them, my IL2 always cashes, any help?
Im running on Vista if that helps.

Give us a little more info.What are you trying to get running the Unified Installer?What version of the game are you talking about?

moved to proper forum section ,

please use "download" sections only for "official AAA mods " d/l threads

as for Vista goes , here are the basics :

1 turn off UAC ( user account control)

2 run patches "as administrator"

3 have game installed on different location ( not ....\Program files(x86) nor Program files )

When I unzip the files I have downloaded I place them into the IL2 folder, and run administator but it still crashes. Im sorry about this, Im a total noob and a sucker for flying games
