There is alreay a similar post in mission building but nobody is responding any more down there so I might as well try it here...

I am using UI 1.1 and the FMB mod that come swith it, I think it is called FMB+. in the description (and several posting on thet matter) it says that it should be possible to group objects and move them as a group, rotate them etc in FMB now.

I do not know how to do that. Am i missing soemthing?

I can mark an area with the mouse but no object is selected.
What is the trick to it??? (select objects is enabled, i tried left mouse, right mouse, Alt, Ctrl, you name it)...

When I select objects in my map-building version of FMB, I always use + mouse to successfully group objects.

I'm not sure if the map-builder FMB is the same as FMB+ ... but why should the commands be different ... sometimes you need to be specific bout which key you use, left or right ...

Do you have the following lines in your conf.ini?

[HotKey builder]
Alt MouseLeft=select+
Alt MouseRight=select-
Alt Ctrl=unselect
Ctrl C=copy
Ctrl X=cut
Ctrl V=paste

What was tripping me up is that there's no visual indication when you select a group - they look the same when they're selected, but if you grab one you can move all of them. In unlocked FMB for map building, they turn red, which is what I was used to...

actuallly thanks for that pointing out!!!!!!

i was always looking for any indication of the objects being marked!

absolutely nobody ever mentioned yet that you can't see it.
