What was the gunner doing? - panzerkeil - 20.05.2009

I wonder what the gunner was doing right before I shot him down :?:
Look carefully on the floor of the cockpit; I think he was looking at the centerpage of a very well known American magazine just before I shot him down Confusedhock:
I did not know it was already out in WW2.. :?

PS: I have NOT edited this screenshot. Is this part of the skin or a practical joke of Oleg?
Fly_zo seems to have similar pictures in his cockpit

is it a modded cockpit?

- panzerkeil - 20.05.2009

Nope; this is the standard Betty

Do others see this too?

- ptg - 20.05.2009

I just tried this as 'axis' (i.e. German) and IJA - bailed out and don't see that...

I don't think its the "standard" default skin...You are using an "aftermarket" mod skin (I forget who makes them).

- panzerkeil - 20.05.2009

yeah; I have a new default skin (use the skinmod) for almost every plane
But is that part of the skin, or part of the cockpit?
The cockpit is default.

I like it anyhow

The cockpit from the exterior view is part of the exterior skin. The default cockpit could be hot pink and it'd still appear as green and brown if that's how it was on the external skin.

That's a mod skin- those magazines are in a lot of jesters-ink templates besides this one (the P-39 and F4F come to mind). I think it's kind of a trademark for whoever did the internals in those templates.

In that case I will have to check the crashing planes in more detail Big Grin
Thanks.

Looks like a naked girl on a poster but she is not shaved

Well, at least that is historically correct: I don't think it was the fashion to shave back then. Big Grin
