This is the skin of a Fw-190A-8 that you can see in a museum in germany.
An aircraft combined from several wrecks, the main componets were new
built Flug-Werk parts as the main fuselage and the wings.
The first FW 190 back in Germany in 1999.

The museum is in Laatzen, near to Hannover in Niedersachsen/GER.

I thought that Germany was totally banned the "exhibition" of Nazi symbols, even in historical objects. For example, in a museum, I think in Germany there is a Bf-109E3 of the JG-51 and the
and the plane does not have swastikas on the tail.

Yes in germany the swatiska is totally banned. Only museums are somehow allowed to show a historical object with this sign.
On german servers we bann pilots with this symbol on their skin. Also pilots with nicks are banned. Names like:
SS-Sturmbock
Heil-Jaeger
SS-Galland etc.
There was a server admin for example who made add ons for Il-2 sturmovik. Some time ago he released an addon with a JG27 campainge. In the descripiton you could find some stuff that was very political. The whole german community dissociated themself from this man and his server suddenly was empty.
Sometimes there are historical missions on a server were we have this symbol on our planes. I cannot see it in my cockpit but it is a strange feeling. I also behave different in some situations. I have damaged an opponent. I could give him the rest. But than this symbol comes into my mind and I do not want to be like the ideology behind this symbol. And I write into the chat that he can fly home. For me as a german this symbol is like an open wound in my mind. I hate it. It teached me that mankind is not without any failure. This symbol stands for hate, ignorance, inhumanity, size illusion.

I thought it was allowed in art, too, but I could be wrong.
To be honest as someone whose family were on the receiving end, it makes me feel a little uncomfortable but I recognise that it's a symbol which represented things like peace before the Nazis came along. From what I recall, one of the US Infantry divs (think it was the 45th, but I'm not sure) had a golden swastika on a red diamond as their unit insignia before it was changed to a thunderbird in 1933 (for obvious reasons). If it's there for historical accuracy, then it's there, and it doesn't bother me; when I got Il-2 and hadn't enabled it yet, all the German planes really looked like they were missing something. Also, do they ban any sort of swastika or just the genuinely Nazi ones?
Moving on, this is a very nice skin and looking at your other works that's to be expected. Thanks for the addition to the game and thanks for the enlightening discussions.

I understand what you mean. Also imagine that this topic is taboo in Germany.
But it is history, and history can not hide.
The history is full of terrible events, man can become a terrible animal.
The Roman Empire, the Crusades, Genghis Khan, the religious wars, the conquest of America by my country, the Napoleonic wars, the conquest of Northern America, colonialism in Africa, the Nazis, but also communism, with its purges and the gulag, the Holomodor in Ukraine, the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia....

the unfortunate side effect of all of this is that the swastika is/was a good luck symbol. There is nothing wrong with it at all.
It's just how it is perceived by the rest of the world post ww2 that gives it the bad name. I guess you could argue the same point about the Christian cross post-Crusades.
