[REQ] Skin for Fw 190 D-9 at 2 GIAP of 322 (NII VVS) - Segfej - 25.05.2009
Welcome,
Feel free to contribute upon this unusual but historical "Dora" (Late 1945 version in Game).
As for me I would like to use it only private in my single/coop/quick missions. I don't play online or LAN/Multiplayer. This in respect to the artist will see no publication in any form from my person.
I thought this must be said, I'm honest, I study Graphic-Design and I'm a Noob in making it myself, blame me. But you should profit and benefit for making this and working hard.
Historical Background;
My skin request is about a rare war booty of factory new Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 that where captured by the soviet-baltic redbanner air fleet in March 1945. Location of the Factory plant and the airbase was in Zarau/Marienburg region in East-Prussia.
There exsist 3 initial b/w pictures.

Additional info & high quality scans about the above mentioned Doras & pictures may follow upon request, just leave a comment and I'll post it here.
Thanks for your patience and hopefully "happy skinnin".
Update:
Picture Gallery (1. a bulk of 'red' Doras, 2. Dora during the first and only examination, 3. this picture is a bad reproduction, supercharger on wrong side

I'm of the impression that these skins exist somewhere... I'd encourage you to download a template and give it a go yourself if you study graphic design though, it's an awesome way to learn photoshop!
That's what I study as well by the way.

First thanks for your comments, I appreciate constructive critics towards trying it myself. Indeed my DTP skills are a shame to my guild, hopefully I see light and will head straight to be more motivated. For my defense I had my first pc at the age of 22, when I started as a 3-year-trainee to get Assistant graphic-designer examination. Before that I had an arts and crafts based solid, so more "non virtual/digital", artistic school education in drawing, artistic printing methods and painting. Personal struggles led me to the decision to quit the higher arts scene and concentrate more on graphic-design, where I could benefit from and implement my arts and crafts experiences. Now at my studies I made at least one course in DTP, the basics of Photoshop, It poked out my eyes because of the amount of new stuff that is availlable. Still that I made this first of two courses I feel like I'm trapped in a nutshell. My collegues where bored to death, while I was hitchhiking through layers and actions.
BTW.
Above is the link to 3 pictures, they are of poor paper/printing quality. I have another one of the 3rd in a "discount book" I bought back in the early 90s, but in much better printing quality , there glossy coated paper, so you can see clearly the air intake for the supercharger. Will add this as soon as possible and replace it with the false one.
