Thanks Slikk for posting these!
I seem to always take for granted there's already these types of missions since it is a stock map- then I get 'Target not found' errors.
Cheers

No. See e.g.

The question was treated here on AAA several times.

what a pitty...
But at least flying along the carrier at start?
or maybe as flight 5+ ?
- Guest - 26.05.2009
zaelu, if by flight 5+ you mean having AI-only planes taking off from carriers, the answer is yes, you can set up QMB missions like this. Only the 1st 4 flights (that you can set up in QMB) can NOT start from a carrier.

Hey Slikk, first off thanks, second, what am I doing wrong? I placed the missions in the MODs/QMBplus/Missions/quick but don't see any missions. I followed the instructions for the QMBplus and copied the lines but I don't see any missions, I did something wrong

@ RRuger
Do you have the QMB Plus working at all, or is it just the new missions that don

Try moving the Quick folder to \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Quick. The QMB+ should now launch the Scramble and Strike you just installed.
Take care,

Quote:The "Load" button at the bottom of the QMB is for Quick missions that you make with the QMB. Those are saved to the \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Quicks folder in the main directory. To use the missions that you installed to the \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Quick, all you have to do is click on the Target button at the right lower corner of the QMB screen, you will see a list of mission types-none, armor, bridge, airbase, scramble and strike, just choose the mission type you want. If you get a "Wrong Target" error message, this means that, that type of mission does not exist for the map you have chosen. Looking at the missions in the Quick folder will let you know what type of missions exist for each map in the QMB and for which side, Red or Blue.
I hope this helps, take care.

Big help C2, now that I understand the way it works, thanks to you I was expecting to see a selection of missions to choose from but rather this is more of a dynamic situational mission writer. I pick the planes and the QMB now writes in the situation, awesome! Thanks for the explanation, I'm sure that I'd still be clicking on the "load" button scratching my head

Hi Slikk. Found a bug in the Red strike mission. When it starts loading it kicks out and gives the following error:
Mission loading failed: Landscape 'LAL_Okinawa\load.ini' loading error
I tried opening OkinawaRedStrike00.mis in the FMB and it locked up. However, all the others missions work just fine!
- Slikk - 27.05.2009
Thanks for pointing that out RJC_Igor. The file has been fixed and re-uploaded.
