1/6th scale Hurricane Mk IIc - Carosel43 - 27.05.2009
As there is a very nice Fw190 in here i best get up there and shoot it down! this is my 6th scale hurricane, 80 inch (2 meter) wingspan, 20cc four stroke engine, retracts and flaps. took about 20 months to build only flown 7 or 8 times so far but im working through the niggles you get with a new model. enjoy!
also to the chap who commented on the prop being to small for scale thats just something we have to live with, model engines dont have the torque needed for scale props, also, i have a radial and its going in a coursair eventually!

The last 3 look like it's a real Hurricane.

If only I had the time and know how to build that (RC plane scale)...
That is so great, but agreed for the damn little prop, too bad
So, now, just put 4 paintball gun replacing the fakes one, and go straffing your neighborhood

I'm the chap who built the FW190, I must say your hurricane looks so much more detailed than my plane.
That's what you get from building bigger scale planes, more room to add details
Can I post your pictures on a different forum? there's a thread there called "The perfect scale photo".
I'll post your name under it
for those interesed, here's the link ( in dutch):
http://www.modelbouwforum.nl/forums/vli ... lfoto.html
only the flying photos will be posted since only pictures that look like they're showing a real plane are allowed, top-down views are prohibited...
Wow!! - Thunda - 28.05.2009
Just had a look at this link DannyMNL has posted, and it is incredible- all types of aircraft from WWI and earlier, through WWII fighters and bombers to modern jets- some multi engined- and most totally indistinguishable from the real thing- I mean..........wow! Some of these photos have got to be of real planes, surely? I mean there is a C17 Globemaster for ****'s sake!
For all of you who (like me) thought that R?C aircraft were all well and good, but didnt look that realistic, I recommend checking this out.
