Timeout Connecting to Any server using Hyperlobby - Andy Brandt - 01.06.2009

Hi there
Browsed through the help, and my problem seems different from the solutions already listed
Up untill about a week ago, i could happily connect to any server, have my fun, get shot down, whatver!
However, now i cannot connect to any server, tryed using both 408m and 409 (for the respective server requiremts)
i click join server, il2 loads up, then get the screen connecting to server, stays on that for about 30seconds, then i get something saying it cannot connect to the remote host, reson: timeout.
no loading of mission or anything!
v strange, espec as nothing has changed my end with regards to the internet set up. only thing i can think of is the instalation of lavasoft adaware.

Anyway any help would be appriciated!

check your connection settings

go to speedtest.net and test your connection against a server on the opposite side of the gobe to where you are

If your ping is above 250-300 ms then thats your problem

No it wasnt ping, what i ended up doing was playing around with the firewall and that seemed to have got it working!
