When you set your bomb sight are you using TAS or IAS? Also are you using your barometric altitude or your AGL?

Either of those could cause bombs to fall short or long depending on conditions.

Also in your first picture, you are missing the markings on the bomb sight, remember to make a nice level, straight bomb run. If you maneuver very much the bomb sight has to re adjust and the markings disappear for a minute.

This is a complicated subject, however with practice it is a skill worth learning. The {HVY} squadron flies nightly in the AAA server and routinely hits runways and scores kills from 25,000 feet. Here is their level bombing manual.

I guess you are using the defualt game bombsight, which IMO isn't very good. However there is a Norden Bombsight Mod which replaces the defualt bombsight. You will find this Bombsight very useful and more accut. then game defualt bombsight.
(The link is inoperative)
Also I suggust that you get the Bombsight Table_2, this will give you the correct Bombsight anlge you will need. it is easy to use.

Also there are three very important facts concerning control set up.
1) Level Stabilizer
2) Elevator trim
3) Rudder Trim

You need all three of these in order to do an effective Bombing run.
The Level Stabilizer is used once you reach your Bombing Altitude.
Elevator Trim is used once you have the Level Stabilizer set, make sure you put the Evevator trim into the full up position, this will help the plane from losing Altitude.
Rudder trim is very important, this will help guide you onto the Target.
