New Splashscreens Pack for Mod - 4./JG53_Badger - 04.06.2009

Salute Pilots,
I thought you all would like to have some new Splashscreens for your game. If you have the Splashscreens mod installed then all you need to do is add these to your screens folder inside the modded folder (see below). You can also use any paint program to see which ones you like or don't like. Either way enjoy them....Cheers

This is for anyone who needs to know where to put them. If you have the splash screen mod then you know where the files go! If you use gimp or another paint program, use it to find the tga file in your game. There are a few locations that the tga files are located in. I'll post the locations below.

C:\Main Game folder\Missions......There's a Background.TGA file there.

C:\Main Game Folder\MODS\STD\gui.......There's a Background.TGA file here

and if you have the splash screen mod installed then you have your background.TGA files here too

C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946_Full\MODS\SplashScreen\GUI and

C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946_Full\MODS\SplashScreen\GUI\Screens

Now all you need to do is start your game remember which screen you see where. Then use a paint program to open them up. Once you know where the are located, then all you need to do is swap them out....Not that hard to do....If you need help I ll be in HL most of the time....Cheers.

All of the pictures were found on the internet, open to the public for saving....Thanks for the concern, but if the artists didnt want them downloaded they could have placed watermarks on them...I'm just sharing my findings with eveyone here so enjoy. But thanks again Dietz
