70 km per grid square - what am I doing wrong? - eldoc - 05.06.2009
OK just starting out building maps - so I'll probably start with a few very easy/stupid questions. Here's the first one. I'm making a simple scenery map to fly over to get the hang of the processes involved. I have taken 3 sectors from the SRTM source and taken it into MicroDEM and merged it fine. I have done all the necessary there and set it to 50m per px.
I've followed all the steps in the tutorial and I now have a map I can fly over.
WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
The scenery I fly over is very small - I thought I would get 10 km to the grid square in IL2 as usual - it's much closer to 60 or 70 km.
Anything spring to mind? - the process went well - very good documentation, guys - thanks for that.
Cheers
