Since tromplamort's various halifax (B24) pack's this is the very best RAF B24 (hack) pack i've seen so far. Even if they are fictional, they're looking very well and authentic. Okay, the blue and red colors are perhaps a bit intensive, but that is a matter of taste. Historically 'XB' was the squadron code of No. 220 RAF squadron, a unit reequipped with liberators in december 1944 and mainly tasked with reconnaisance and anti-submarine patrols in the south atlantic. I don't know if you choosed this squadron code 'per accident ' but it didn't belong to a real bomber unit.
You did apply even individual nosearts to each plane - excellent! The large number of 26 individual planes gives the opportunity of let them fly in a bigger formation. Building a SP mission of the RAF Hamburg u-boat pens daylight raid in 1945 this pack comes to the very right time for me! Will be a pleasure shooting some of them down with the Me262's of JG7 - fairly historical. Thank you very much and best wishes.

P. S. i will write a pm to you.

It's just purely coincidental I used the letters XB and I didn't know that it was the squadron code for No. 220 Sqdn. As for the nose art, some are from real aircraft ( WW2 to now ) and some are completely made up.

It all started because I made a skin for the Ar 234 Nachtjaeger and wanted some thing to shot down, to bring more immersion to the game I decided to make a generic / fake bomber Sqdn.

Apart from 1 skin they where never ment to be historical correct, more just to have fun with Big Grin

Saay... I don't suppose you'd be interested in making some skins in the same vein as those for Ranwers' Halifax? That'd be awesome!
