Blue screens, rearly blue, not these windows things.. - netrider - 07.06.2009

Hey,

I got some probs with my IL2 Installation. Without any reasons I get random bluescreens. Its not situation, player or clouds related. Somtimes I join a server on an empty map and after a frew seconds, minuts or perhaps half an hour there is all screen blue and system hangs up.
It also seemed, that bluescreens became less after setting maximum resolution and details. But just for a short period of time.
Driver settings are "quality"

Can anybody help me?

I take it you're refering to getting the dreaded "blue screen of death"? If so, and it flashes up too quickly to read and reboots automatically try going to Start/Control panel/System/Advanced - click on startup and recovery settings and under system failure un-tick the restart automatically checkbox. Next time it happens have a pen handy and write down some details including the long DX00003298302393...whatever code you get (can be good to pop these error codes in Google to get more information), you will have to manually reboot after though.

I was getting the blue screen of death randomly too a while back - think it was something to do with sound settings, seemed to go away after lowering them a bit anywho. Perhaps try lowering them a bit and see if it happens again.

If you're not talking about the blue screen of death - disregard everything I just said and move on to the next post

Hey, dont think its a typical bluescreen...but death is correct Wink
All system freezes with a dark colored blue, without any error message. its just blue and no automatic reboot.

Oh...umm...bugger. That sounds a bit odd :?

Perhaps you could go to Control panel/Admin tools/Event viewer/System next time it does it (or if you can recall a specific time) see if there is any errors logged at that time to give you a clue?
