I stink at this game - XenephusVC - 11.06.2009
I dont exactly stink. I am very good at ground attacker however. If you get me in a dogfight though I will be the easiest kill of your life. I am a 13 aircraft enthusiast looking for some training. If anyone wants to help me out
-Thanks XenephusVC

Hi XenephusVC
Sorry my English
Not sure if a can help you. But her is what i tryed in the beginnig when dogfigting, and it worked for me
A good adwise is to have the enemy in your sight at all time when you dogfight. If you do not manage it make sure for have enogugh speed in your plane and try to make altitude and distance from your opponent. Then if you se him below you, Make an dive towards him and notise every movemt he is doing and try to follow his movments so that you can come in behind him and when you do so try to hit him as mutch you can. The best spot to hit in game i think is in the wing, but i prefere to hit in the fuselage.
You can also join any squadron on the net i am sure they will teach you more you like to know
Good flying

Never fly straight and level in a combat area.

Practice.
I stink as well, but it keeps getting better as time goes by.

At the moment, I even fail fighting four Rookie B-17's with a Bf-109G6/AS and use the Me-410D with MG213's very much
... so I won't post any advice here

Practise alot offline.....run quick missions. There is alot of controls to be set to make your plane fly to it's ability.....trimming, prop pitch, fuel mixture, gun convergence etc. Also another is to set up your pitch roll and yaw as the one that comes standard with the game stinks.
Once you get some practise and start learning how to manuver properly you'll enjoy it more and start getting some kills.....fly a plane that you enjoy and stick with it for awhile. You won't become an ace overnight. I've been playing this game for over five - six years now and there is always tips and tricks that I still find out.
Another good thing is to fly with someone and use teamspeak or ventrillo. Communication is very important.
And my last tip.....SPEED IS LIFE :
)
Happy Hunting!

I suggest picking one aircraft to fly (this can be pretty easy if you belong to a squadron) and learn it's strengths and weaknesses. Once you know how to fly (or not to fly) your chosen aircraft you will be able to its strengths and avoid getting into situations in which you will be vulnerable.
Whenever attacking bombers, do not park yourself dead astern, the tail gunner will always get you before you get him. Make head on, diving or oblique attacks against bombers.

Agree whith you
.I do not have the track ir. because i like my hatswitch on my joystick and it is an "Logitech FORCE 3D PRO" am using. Don`t know if i need any track ir?
And also a good and easy joystick is parhaps also usefull to become an ace when playing offline
Whitch joystick are you using KG64_cnopicilin when?
- stansdds - 13.06.2009
You don't know if you need Track IR until you've tried Track IR. I was skeptical, now I won't play any sim that does not support Track IR.
