That Pestering Spawn Bug - EoW_WhamO_CO - 14.06.2009

I recently installed UI 1.1 and flew for a couple of days onlne on various servers. All was going well until about a week later when the annoying spawn bug began to occur, i hadnt installed any other mods, it simply started spawning me at enemy bases. I remembered there was the Spawn Glitch Fix, so i downloaded it, installed it, flew and got the bug again. I thought, well maybe i just had a bad download. I removed every last trace of IL2 from my HD and reinstalled it. I patched it up to 4.08m and flew the game fine.

I re-downloaded all the Parts of the UI and installed them. Game booted up fine and everything worked well offline. I joined AAA and selected a blue carrier base. I got spawned at the red bomber base and was promptly blown away by the flak. I re-downloaded and installed the spawn bug fix, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Do you happen to have any version of the Carrier Takeoff mod installed? There's a bug in that that may cause you to spawn at the wrong base under certain conditions. I'll be releasing a new version (5.3) in the next day or so that should fix that.

i do, i tried disabling it and it continues to give me the spawn to enemy bases.
