A GOOD IDEA - FlyingShark - 18.06.2009

Hi,

A lot of wonderful planes have been added by this community.
But now I have a good idea of a plane that really should be added.
We know we already have the magnificent C47 but there was a plane that looked a lot like it, I'm talking about the C46 Skytrain. It actually was the direct concurent of the C47. It was used mainly in the Pacific PTO. So, if any of the modders would feel like creating this plane, would really be nice.

If you speak about the C-46, it is the Curtis C-46 Commando, very different from the C-47...

I think Skytrain was another name for the C-47. And there was the C-53 Skytroopper which was another variant of the DC-3...

So many flying boats and no Martin M-130 or Boeing 314? Wink I think the Connie has too many curved surfaces to be modelled in this IL2 engine.

I'd love to see those planes graze Oleg's skies but I'm afraid that many people would not like to fly civilian planes in IL2. But I sure would Big Grin
