What Happened To My U-2VS? - Boris The Spider - 18.06.2009
I was making a mission and decided I wanted a U-2VS as one of the static a/c. It wouldn't place.
hock:
Then I tired adding one flying over the airfield. Although I could place the waypoints when I tried loading the mission I got the following INTERNAL LOADING ERROR message:
"Can't load Pilotg.mat".
UI 1.1.1 installed. Only mod planes are the B-29 Silverplate and RWD8 which came with the install and the Cant1007 and Sea Hurricane. I know the Cant replaces one of the DB-3's and the Sea Hurri is a 'new slot' plane so where did that dang little biplane go? Where do I need to check to see if it's been overwritten somehow or corrupted?
Thanks in advance.

That is a bug of my gore mod the version 1.0 for fix this bug delete of the mods the folder wolfighters_gore4allplanes and install 0_wolfighters_gore4allplanes_v1.3 or copy the file PilotG.mat from of folder R-10 to the folder U-2VS.

Thanks wolfighter.
And I like that mod so much.
So are you saying if I copy the R-10 PilotG.mat over to the U-2VS I can keep the mod active?
If not I'll look forward to the bug fix.

Yes copy the file PilotG.mat in the folder R-10 to the folder U-2VS (copy and paste keep the file PilotG.mat in the folder R-10).
This fix the Bug and you can keep the mod active.

That worked! So simple, so elegant.
...so why didn't you fix this to begin with? HUH? Biatch, biatch, biatch, biatch...i can't make mods but I sure can complain about them!!! ....blahblahblahblahblah......
Just kidding. I was imagining what some might say to themselves if faced with a similar problem.
It's all too easy to complain that this isn't working and that isn't working and everything is fubar when in reality making mods is pretty much an arcane art and those gifted with understanding it have been kind enough to share the fruits of their intensive labors, yet some can only complain.
Thanks for a great mod and thanks for an easy fix to my problem. You da man!
