x52 pro setup - DUSTY DOCKER - 20.06.2009
Hi all, can anybody tell me how to setup my x52 pro for IL2? What are the best settings in game and for joy software? Thx for help

settings in game are easy.. open up the GUi and go to .. hold on im gunna have to look its ben that long...
right.. go to "hardware setup"> "input" then move all the sliders up to 100% on the roll, pitch and yaw. Without this the planes will stall out all over the place as the X-52 is very twitchy!
As for setting up software that goes with it.. Plug it in let drivers load. Once you have done that go to Microsoft update and let that do its stuff AND/OR go to saitek homepage and download thier latest drivers. ~~~~>
http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.htm . That should be about it.. Hope it helps and im sure theres more advice on its way!

I would recommend you download the beta SST software from the saitek forums, its far better than what comes on the installation disk. How you setup the stick inputs is going to take some trial and error - mine is a straight line from 0 - 85 on all the control surfaces... but you'll have to take some time and discover what suits you best. I would recommend il2joycontrol for setting up the axies as is also allows you to adjust the inputs from the trim wheels as well. And for programming all the buttons the most effective way I have found is to program all the key presses in IL2 to the keyboard as you would normally - then for the ones you want mapped to the x52 use the SST software to emulate those key presses.

Thx guys..but i did that already, but im not still happy with x52 pro. Dont you know about any possible upgrades for x52 pro? I mean any new chip unit for x52 pro? I read about some upgrades for x52...they removnig wrinkling thing in the centre of the stick and they putting in new chip device...after that you are able to draw a circle with your x52..not square shape circle what x52 and x52pro does. Or does exitst any helpful software for calibrating stick better? Or would be better to buy new stick?
