Be patient my young Padiwan. It's coming......
Plane types will be limited by number/type/location once the server moves to FBDj.

Well, let me clarify a bit better...

We've been messing about with a dogfight as Nipper's crew hosts every friday among ourselves and we want to limit the plane number to a certain number on a certain base to limit... eeh... comparatively uberplanes to say 2 planes...

My best guess would be that it can't be done when not on a dedicated server?

With FBDj it's possible to set the limits for all types of planes, but it is server software. To my knowledge, you can't host a private server using FBDj or FBD.

With FBDj we can set a total limit of A/C (say the ME-262) to, say 4 allowed in the air at any time.
We can also set decreasing limits so if 1 of those 4 are destroyed that there is now only 3 avail.

Will make for some VERY interesting maps as people are forced to fight with less technologically advanced planes as the Uber planes are lost.

We can also set Load Out restrictions so that if we tell you that you can't use a certain type of weapon on a plane, it will kick you after a bit.

Will this help you? http://www.battle-fields.com/commscentre/showthread.php?t=12666

Howlin,

What you are asking is possible on any single spawn base. The total number of planes allowed toi spawn is directly proportional to the size of the home base circle. You'll have to experiment a bit to get it just right but I've made missions just like you are talking about get just 2 Me-262's.

The negative is you have to take up one base to do this or create a spawn point.

Lol in my link to BFs forum, in the example the writer, JTD, shows how to reduce in-flight me-262's to 2...
