The Magister shouldn't effect your splash screen - its miles (no pun intented) away from those files. I would suggest that you buggered up your install some how...

The Magister download has never been on page four of any section, and is on page one (this is a nullified point of fact in the face of the link Radoye has provided) of the WIP-BETA Aircraft Mods download section, which, only has one page of mods anyway...
