[DOWNLOAD]Ultimate Bulgarian BF 109G Skinpack - Messer - 04.07.2009

Gentlemen , I'm proudly presenting my latest (and last for the type) skinpack, an Ultimate collection of over 40 Bf 109G skins for the Bulgarian aifrorce 1943-1945. Historical versions for G2, G4 (Anto's mod), G6 and G6 Erla (Muas' mod), as well as previous Bf 109 skins I've made.

Included are the poster art and a detailed ReadMe with Installation inscrutions, historical accuracy details and credits.

As I'm honestly sick of Bf 109G skins and browsing hundreds of black and white photos and color profiles, I'll take some break from skinning. Big Grin

ADVICE: Check VPMedia's excellent Bulgarian 109's too. He's a skin master!

Best wishes, and I sincerely hope you'll like them!

Between August 1943 and May 1944 the USAAF performed 8 strategic bombings of Sofia , including several smaller operations against other Bulgarian cities. Several night raids were also carried by British bomber units in Italy.
Karlovo airfield (one of the main VnVV bases) was bombeb two times in June 1944, and was attacked by strafing fighters several times, as were the other major bases at Bozhurishte and Vrazhdebna. The Bulgarian fighter force also engaged USAAF bombing raids against targets in Rumania (mostly Ploesti) up until September 1944, as bombers who couldn't find their target, or were damaged, dumped their bomb loads over populated areas in Bulgaria, and escorting fighters often strafed ground targets when they had remaining fuel and didn't encounter aerial opposition over Ploesti.

After that until December 1944-January 1945 the aviation supported ground operations against the Germans in Yugoslavia and Hungary.

The 109G and the French built D.520 fighters were the principle units of the VnVV.
