Anyone thought of a Hawker Hunter? - JG14_Jagr - 05.07.2009

I'm holding my breath waiting for the F86A and the Mig15 to be released as it is.. but I was wondering if anyone had messed with a Hawker Hunter? It missed Korea by a year but played a big role in the India/Paki fights..

Love to see it ingame. Its a beautifull plane.

Dont forget the Arab Israeli wars too. I go past one at the airport all the time...

First, before requesting a new plane can u please give(lots of) data and pictures about the planes?
Second, u will have to wait a while before any will appear in-game(see fairey battle)
Third, i would like to see these new planes in game too.

Uhm, I think the game engine can't handle a Lightning....

- ex_RAAF_Elecfitter - 06.07.2009

as said, there is no way could IL2s engine handle the lightning

But it should be able to handle the beautiful Hunter Big Grin

One of the most handsome jets ever to grace the skies IMHO

I believe I heard from someone that the finished versions of the F-86 and MiG-15 will come with a mod that will allow them to nudge past the sound barrier. If what I heard is true A Lightning may not be so far fetched after all.

- rossmum - 09.07.2009

Bit of a difference between nudging past it and absolutely kerb-stomping it to death. Tongue

I'd love to see more RAF machines of Cold War vintage, though - absolutely beautiful aircraft.
