Spit VIII over Darwin - rossmum - 10.07.2009
Unedited, aside from some simple levels tweaking done in IrfanView - new PC, haven't installed Photoshop yet. This thing is amazing, Il-2 looks like a totally different game.
JK426 making a high pass over the field.
Original res was 1920x1080, not quite sure that the full-sized image would be well-received here

I have Photoshop, I just haven't got around to reinstalling it yet. There's no point wasting time downloading (or wasting money buying, as the case may be) another program when I have CS2 - I just need to get around to finding the CD and putting it back on my PC. Other, more important things like drivers get priority.

Did MkVIII's encounter enemy action over Darwin? I think as they arrived it was largely over, right?

I wouldn't know... they don't teach us anything worth knowing about the air war over northern Australia besides "Darwin was bombed a few times, they censored news about it, blah blah politics blah tangent blah blah". As a result I know more about the air war over Europe than the country I've spent half my life in - I should probably read up on it at some point to make up for the shameful history syllabus they teach these days.
