Two salvo's (four rockets) will sink a merchantman.

IRL (I have read) it was said that a full salvo of eight rockets was the equivilant of a broadside from a heavy cruiser. Take into account the rocket 'spread' would be more concentrated than ship board guns

Very nice skin, I like it alot.

I'm no expert on the type of rockets used here, but it is suprising to me that only 4 will sink a merchant ship.

Don't know about that in real life, but in game they do

Thx for the comments gents

Well, the hull of a regular merchant ship wasn't like "thick". I'm sure that spending lots of 50cal or 20mm rounds (IRL), will punch enough holes in it to make it sink as well. Cause in the end, the ship sinks because it is leaked, not because it is blown apart. That only happened if the cargo was of the explosive kind or the fuel storage was hit.

So all the rocket do is make a big hole.
