Arlington EAA Air Show - 78thFG_Doodle - 11.07.2009

Went to the Arlington Air Show Today in Washington and took some pictures. This is just part 1 of the photo's. They'll be flying all their Warbirds tommorrow.

Baseball, apple pie and Mustangs. There's nothing more red, white and blue then one of these fine machines.

the second mustang is better...cuz its not 3/4 scale :wink:

i have to post some pics like this. we have a mustang, wildcat, and B25 based at the airport where i work :-?

i'll see what i can do tomorrow.

not to mention the avenger based about 40 miles away 8) need to bring a camera around with me more often when i fly around to places i guess :roll:

Great shots, doodle! Sorry I ditched you today, I left a message on my facebook page... some stuff came up with my girlfriends family this morning... plus the nasty turn of the weather. I hope they all got to fly still. We need to exchange Cell #'s so I can text you next time...

Those "mini" Mustangs are really cool. The one that put on a demonstration on Friday was almost louder than the real thing! That may be a good alternative to paying millions for the real deal! We'll have to start the "mini" Horsemen. haha

I had a chance to check out my pics real quick at home and will be processing them most of the day tomorrow. I think I took about 1,600 pics in total from Friday and Saturday. I've got a TON of dust INSIDE my lens, so it'll take some time to remove all the spots from the pics. haha
